What is rafting and what equipment does it require
Rafting is going down the river in a rubber boat, specially made for wild waters. The rafting boats are made of extremely resistant multi-layer rubber, the length of the boat is between 3 and 6 meters. Today's rafting boats are modern rafts and the main difference from old rafts is that they are much lighter and have shallow draft which makes them much more mobile.
Rafting is primarily conceived as a good pastime on the river - a combination of beauty, adrenaline, adventure, vacation, fun, pleasure, a return to untouched nature… Rafting does not require experience.
Rafting equipment includes: safety helmet, safety vest and paddle. Depending on the weather conditions, the following are available: long or short neoprene suits, neoprene boots or slippers, waterproof jackets or raincoats.
