One of our favourite tours, involving a trekking pole and a backpack.
Trnovacko lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in our area. Located on an altitude of 1,517m, its emerald green waters are surrounded by Maglic, Bioc and Volujak mountains. Its unique heart shape makes it a natural phenomenon and adds to its already striking features.
We will leave the hotel at about 8AM and drive to Foca, where we will stop for a bit of shopping and sightseeing. We continue onto Dragos Sedlo, on our way to a place in the heart of Perucica rainforest that offers spectacular views of the Skakavac waterfall. Following the katun village Prijevor, we set of on a 90min hike to Trnovacko lake. Upon arrival, you will have 2h to soak in the sights and swim in the lake. We are expected to arrive back at the hotel at around 8PM.
You are expected to be in moderate physical shape and have basic hiking skills for this trip. We recommend you take a backpack, light jacket, sunblock, a swimsuit and plenty of water. Please make sure to bring your travel document, as it will be checked at the Scepan Polje crossing. All taxes and lunch are included in the price.
