First registration:
Registration of activities can be done in person, by phone, or in writing. The registration is confirmed by Blue River Tara, either by phone or in writing, and is therefore binding. If the content of the booking confirmation differs from the registration, please inform us immediately and submit a new request. If we do not receive a confirmation, we assume the information is correct and consider the booking confirmed.
Payment method:
Payment for the rafting tour on our online store can be made using payment cards – VISA, Maestro, or MasterCard – that support online payments. Card payments are processed in cooperation with Hipotekarna Banka AD and AllSecure doo, carried out securely and certified through the AllSecure doo Payment Gateway by simply entering your card details. Once the card details are entered and payment is confirmed, the bank authorizes the transaction, and the rafting tour is approved. The amount will be reserved on your card/account and will not be available for any other use. If the payment is not completed, meaning the amount is not charged within 14 days from the acceptance of your rafting tour, the tour will be canceled and deleted. After this 14-day period, the reserved amount on your account will be released and become available to you again. You can then repeat the same or a new rafting tour booking and make the payment accordingly.
Data protection during payment:
When entering payment card details, confidential information is transmitted over a public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol, employing the latest methods of tokenization for sensitive data, and in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. At no point are the card details accessible to the merchant. 3D Secure protection for all merchants and customers – The AllSecure Payment Gateway uses the highest global standards for data protection and privacy. All merchants using the AllSecure Payment Gateway are automatically included in 3D-Secure protection, ensuring safe purchases for customers. Customer card numbers are not stored on the merchant’s system, and data entry is secured with SSL encryption. PCI DSS Standards – The AllSecure Payment Gateway continuously complies with all requirements from card organizations to enhance security for merchants and customers. Since 2005, the system has been continuously certified as PCI-DSS Level 1, representing the highest industry standard. The PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) defines necessary security measures for processing, storing, and transmitting sensitive cardholder data. PCI standards protect sensitive cardholder data throughout the entire payment process: from the moment data is entered at the merchant’s point of sale, through communications between the merchant, banks, and card organizations, to the later storage of that data.

For complaints related to services provided by Blue River Tara, you can send an email to the following address: bluerivertara@gmail.com.
Refunds:
In case of a refund to a customer who previously paid with a payment card, whether partial or full, and regardless of the reason for the refund, the refund will be made exclusively to the same VISA, Maestro, or MasterCard card used for the payment. This means that our bank will process the refund to the cardholder’s account upon our request.
Conversion statement:
„Conversion statement – All payments will be made in euros (€). If the payment is made with payment cards issued by foreign banks, the transaction amount will be converted to the cardholder’s local currency according to the Visa/Mastercard bank exchange rates."
Ticket purchase:
Participant status:
The participant agrees to inform the boat guide about any possible physiological or physical impairments before the start of the tour (e.g., in case of allergies, allergens may be brought on board). Persons under the influence of medication, alcohol, or drugs are excluded from the activity. This also applies to mentally and physically incapacitated individuals. The boat driver has the authority to decide whether a person is fit for the activity (even suspicion of alcohol or drug use is sufficient).
Adventure activity:
Each participant is aware that they are taking part in an adventurous outdoor activity that cannot offer the comfort and security of a typical package tour. The equipment meets the latest safety standards. All tours are carefully planned and prepared. Before each tour, the travel guide or staff member provides an introduction. Risks are multiple and therefore cannot be completely eliminated (as with all outdoor activities). Blue River Tara is not responsible for damages resulting from activities beyond the reserved program. In the case of consumer transactions under the Consumer Protection Act, this applies only to the extent that such damages do not involve personal injuries.
Safety instructions:
Participants must follow all safety instructions and the travel leader’s guidelines and actively participate in the tour. Participants are expected to support each other throughout the activity.
Termination of the contract on our part:
The tour guide has the right to exclude guests from the tour or cancel the tour if they violate the terms and conditions, especially if they do not meet the requirements necessary for the tour. The tour guide reserves the right to change, extend, interrupt, or limit the tour program due to unforeseen circumstances that may jeopardize the safety of the guests (e.g., high water levels, weather changes, insufficient skills, or lack of attention from participants, etc.). Blue River Tara reserves the right to terminate the contract under such circumstances.
Injuries and damages:
Injuries and damages must be reported immediately to the tour leader or boat crew.
Tour duration:
The travel durations provided in brochures, flyers, and on the homepage are approximate values. Tour durations cannot always be precisely determined in advance. They depend, for example, on water levels or group dynamics. Blue River Tara does not guarantee adherence to these time estimates.
Price or program changes:
Price or program changes and corrections of printing errors (in brochures, flyers, and on the homepage) are reserved. Invalid provisions: If any provision of the travel contract becomes wholly or partially invalid, this will not result in the cancellation of the entire contract. Instead, we have the right to replace the ineffective provision with a permissible one that most closely aligns with the purpose of the invalid provision.
Swimming ability:
This activity requires adequate swimming ability in flowing water.
Kids:
Children under 6 years old are not allowed to participate. A minimum age of 14 years applies for the adventure. All minors must be accompanied by an appropriate adult supervisor. Insurance registration forms must be signed by a parent or guardian (for groups, we can send the registration forms in advance so parents can review and sign them). Blue River Tara cannot be held responsible for any misrepresentation regarding the age of children.
Use of equipment:
Participants must ensure they take the equipment received from the base before departure onto the buses and always carry it with them. They must also make sure they are properly dressed with the equipment. During the tour, it is not allowed to remove the helmet or life vest. Participants must always be properly dressed and fully equipped throughout the tour. If a participant is unsure whether they are properly equipped or wishes to briefly adjust something on their equipment (e.g., open the life vest), they must inform the boat crew of their intention, wait for permission and instructions, and follow them. The tour guide has the right to exclude a participant from the tour in case of incomplete or improper use of equipment if this results from the participant’s negligence.
Inappropriate behavior:
The descent takes place in a natural environment, and participants must treat it with respect. Littering is prohibited, and unnecessary damage to plants and animals should be avoided. Smoking and unnecessary noise are forbidden during the descent.
Boat damage:
Participants/guests are responsible for any intentional damage to boats, equipment, or any base furniture.
Keeping valuables:
We do not take responsibility for valuables. If a participant brings any items (cameras, photo cameras, mobile phones) on the trip, they must inform the tour guide and boat guides before departure. Blue River Tara is not responsible for any items brought by participants that are not part of their equipment, and refunds are not possible. We also advise not to wear jewelry or watches on the rafting tour.
