Trip around Durmitor

One of our most popular tours, this is day trip dedicated to exploring the wonders of Durmitor National Park.

Excursion stream:

08:00h- Enjoy a traditional, homemade breakfast.

09:00h– Get to know your tour guide and start the roadtrip – we will make multiple stops along the way, such as Mratinje dam, Piva canyon and the historical Trsa village. In the old times, Trsa used to be the central place for summertime events. The road to Trsa (as the majority of roads around Durmitor) are likely to be snowed in until as late as April! We continue to Prutas, with its vertical slopes that flow down the side of Durmitor like a waterfall. We pass through Sedlo on our way to Zabljak.

12:30h- Arrive in Zabljak and the magnificent Black Lake – take a refreshing dip, hike around the lake or sit back and relax at the local café.

14:30h– As we continue down the other side of Durmitor, we will visit Momcilov Grad and point Curevac, with its fairy tail-like views of Tara canyon. Make sure not to miss Tepca village, said to be the oldest in the region. We continue to the magical Mala Crna Gora and on to katun Ograde, where you can buy local produce – kajmak, cheese and honey. Mala Crna Gora is inaccessible for at leat five months every year! Our next stop is a descent into Susica canyon, followed by a visit to Susica lake and Nedajno village. The road through Crkvicko Polje and along Tara canyon takes us back to Blue River Tara.

19:00 - 20:00h– Arrive back at the hotel.
